Saw some really good racing last night, a lot of different strategies, and at any given points, that points battle was shifting lap by lap. Pretty clean raise for the most part, 100% next week that we will not tolerate. Also, some of you may have received for ARCA braking going into an accident. First of all, shout out to our race control last night. I feel like he’s in one hell of a job, and he also took all of the pressure off of us. Admins that were racing. He was instructed to give them one last penalty to any drivers that came flying into an accident and creating more havoc, if he felt like they had plenty of time to miss the incident, where, at least attempt to. The two drivers that received those penalties were reviewed by myself afterwards, and they were 100% warranted. If there’s anything that pisses me off more, it’s failure to avoid an accident and creating more damage to cars that are trying to miss it. with that being said, other than that, I didn’t see anything too ridiculous last night, so awesome clean side-by-side racing by not only playoff drivers, but non-playoff drivers. Let’s keep this up going into Talladega next week in the 1987 cars.
Penalties going into next week will be for the 46 of David Overstreet who will be starting with a one lap penalty. Not exactly sure what happened, but with the incident with the 4 car, the number 46 just sent it into that accident full speed, never made an attempt to miss it, creating even more damage for not only quite a bit of the field, but also playoff contending drivers. This is one and only warning on this. Again, this is not something that we tolerate. If it is a connection issue, please make sure your connection is stable enough to race with us on any given night.
