For the first time since 2023 the Milton CAT American Canadian Tour Late Models will roll through the gates at New Hampshire’s Center of Speed, tomorrow for optional practice day ahead of Saturday’s New Hampshire’s Governor’s Cup 150. Coming off the season opener last Saturday at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the Northeast Classic, the Milton CAT American Canadian Tour saw a new first time winner at the conclusion of the event. Connor Souza, the Northeast Classic winner, has yet to file an entry for this weekend’s showing at Lee.

Jake Johnson, the second man in the standings going into Lee, filed his entry for the NH Governor’s Cup 150 earlier this week looking to take over the points early on in the season. Jesse Switser currently sits third after the first week, heading into a track he hasn’t seen since 2021. Last time the ACT Late Models visited Lee USA, Brandon Barker went to victory lane in his first ever start with the series. With an entry list of over 30+ cars, this weekend’s New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 is set to be one for the record books. This Saturday will mark the 30th American Canadian Tour event at Lee.

The Pro All Star Series Super Late Models will also headline the weekend action with their first appearance at New Hampshire’s Center Speed since 2021, where fans saw Joey Doiron head into victory lane. Since 2001 the Pro All Star Series has visited Lee USA Speedway eleven times and has never seen a repeat winner. DJ Shaw coming off his first NHMS win last weekend is looking to become the first repeat winner in PASS competition at Lee. The PASS Modifieds and NELCAR Legends will conclude the racing card on Saturday.

Friday practice will fire off at 12:00pm and will run through 6:00pm. This is an optional practice for Saturday’s divisions, and the weekly classes at Lee USA. Saturday the pit gates will open at 9:30am with drivers meeting following at 11:00am. Practice will kick off at Noon and will run till 1:40pm. Qualifying heat races will go green at 2:00pm for New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 Saturday!
