Sunday, May 31st the stars and cars of the Milton CAT American Canadian Tour and the Pro All Star Series will line up outside the pit gates at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, New Hampshire. The ACT Late Model tour has raced at the Groveton high banks 19 times between 1993 and 2020. Brian Hoar the 8-time American Canadian Tour Champion has 3 wins more then anybody else, starting with in the inaugural event back in 1993, then the second race during the 1994 season, and of course his final win at Riverside during the lone ACT race in 2000. Riverside Speedway has seen some of the biggest names in New England motorsports stand in victory lane when the American Canadian Tour comes to town, including Brian Hoar, Brent Dragon, Brad Leighton, Joey Laquerre, Joey Polewarczyk Jr., Wayne Helliwell and Eddie MacDonald.

The last time the ACT Late Models visited the Groveton, New Hampshire speed plant was back in 2020 where Bryan Kruczeke scored the major victory. After 5 years away from the speedway the number one touring series in New England is set for another go around this Sunday, May 31st. With new blood in the water it’s sure to be a thriller as former Champion Gabe Brown looks for career win #1 at Riverside Speedway, or the youngster Kaiden Fisher who got his racing start at Riverside in both the Kids Kart class and the tracks Dare Devil division before entering the adult classes at Thunder Road. Jimmy Hebert the 2018 ACT winner at Riverside is set for his first race at the track behind the wheel of his Pro All Star Series Super Late Model.

With the way the current entry list looks for Riverside this Sunday, there will be a new winner standing in victory lane at the conclusion of the Great North Woods 150. Never say never though when it comes to these former winners, Brian Hoar who jumped behind the wheel of his 46 ACT Late Model last weekend at White Mountain Motorpsorts Park for round one of the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series could make a late appearance at Riverside this weekend. Same with 2013 winner Joey Pole Jr. who could make his first ACT start of 2026 this weekend with the return to Groveton.

The pit gate will open up at 8:30am with drivers meeting at 10:00am. First practice of the day will be the return of the ACT Flying Tiger Twin-State Series followed by the ACT Late Models, Pass Modifieds and the PASS Super Late Models. Qualifying heat races are set for 2:00pm with the Milton CAT American Canadian Tour kicking things off in style. It’s the long awaited return of the American Canadian Tour and the Pro All Star Series Super Late Models to the Riverside Speedway, and it’s happening this Sunday, May 31st! Be There 👊🏻 for the Great North Woods 150!
